I collect tortoise statues, figurines, and other tortoise items. Here are some Star tortoises from my collection. Best of all, they are easy to care for and they are completely allergen-free! :O)
If you'd like to get one of your own, you can find replicas of several tortoise species here (direct link, stock varies).
Star tortoise plush toy
This cute Star tortoise stuffed toy is made of super soft material. It doubles as a hand puppet. :O)

One of my Star tortoise postage stamps
Turtle candy dish with a lid
This amber-colored glass turtle dish, the "Knobby Back Turtle," was made for L. G. Wright Glass by Fenton. It is not a Star tortoise, but the shell pattern reminds me of one. This turtle was also made in emerald green glass, milk glass, and chocolate milk glass, but I think the amber one is the most beautiful. The mold for this turtle is now owned by the National Milk Glass Collectors Society.
Salt and pepper shakers
These Lenox tortoise salt and pepper shakers are shaped just like high-domed baby Indian Star tortoises. Star babies are such cute little butterballs with short legs. :O)
