star tortoise vivarium

This beautifully landscaped and decorated vivarium was created by Julius for his two two-year-old, captive-bred Indian Star tortoises (Geochelone elegans). Photos courtesy of Julius Guillaumey, France.

Tip: To prevent bright reptile lights from shining into people's or tortoises' eyes, install UVB tubes and basking bulbs with lamp fixtures. For info, see the lighting page.
